Sundyne Appoints Alton Smith Regional Sales Manager For North and Latin America

Arvada, Colorado, May 5, 2022 – Sundyne, a global leader in the design and manufacture of mission critical pumps and compressors, today announced that Alton Smith has joined the company as Regional Sales Manager for North and Latin America, focusing on the Chemical & Industrial (C&I) markets.  In this role, Smith will strengthen customer facing initiatives and he will work with Sundyne’s internal teams to expand the value proposition for all of Sundyne’s products in the C&I space.

Alton comes to Sundyne with more than 30 years of experience in selling highly engineered equipment and service solutions to the downstream and midstream sectors.  Alton has worked extensively with EPCs, OEMs and end users in the renewable energy, oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical and power generation markets.

Prior to Sundyne, Alton served as Vice President of Sales for Fluid Sealing International, where he developed strategies to strengthen & grow distributor sales, while also overseeing training and applications support.  Alton has previously served as a regional sales manager for EKATO Systems, where he worked closely with EPCs and end-users in the chemical, petrochemical and oil & gas markets.  Alton gained experience working with midstream oil & gas OEMs at EagleBurgmann and John Crane, Inc..  He began his career at Flowserve Corporation’s Seal Division, where he held numerous positions including District Sales Manager.
