HMD Pumps pioneered the sealless magnetic drive pump over sixty years ago.  Sundyne combined HMD of the United Kingdom and Kontro from the United States more then a decade ago. The company now does business as Sundyne HMD Kontro.

 

With a sealless magnetic drive pump, there is absolutely no danger of emissions or leaks. There are no seals to replace and with components common across the entire product range, your spare parts inventory is kept to a minimum. Using Sundyne HMD/Kontro pumps means more uptime for your business.

 

Sealless magnetic drive pumps are especially useful in high temperature, high viscosity, high pressure and hazardous situations. For example, the petroleum, chemical, gas production, pharmaceutical, and general process industries where toxic, fine, corrosive and aggressive liquids must be pumped and moved. The GSP model meets American Petroleum Institute (API 685 and 610) exacting standards for sealless magnetic drive pumps, and are specifically suited for refinery applications and environments.
